Talents/personality traits you didn't know you had

I am quite an introvert, love my own company and not very sociable at all really. In fact I would describe myself as quite grumpy!

Since starting my job it has been brought to my attention by several managers that I am extremely friendly to customers and a naturally great sales person. It seems they have even had emails from customers praising me.

This was a huge surprise to me!

What are your hidden talents or personality traits you never knew you had?

Apparently I apologised very sincerely to a customer on the phone. Given I am aspergers, shit social skills and generally don't feel bad about stuff, I thought I was a bit fake about it but apparently not.

I've been praised a few times for my dealing with people on the phone! Face to face would be a different matter.

I also think I'm over cautious and ask too many questions and they will think I'm incompetent and should just get on with it but I've been praised for asking and told I did the right thing!

I can add not very perceptive to list of things I'm shit at .

Not I am aspergers. I hate that phrase. I HAVE aspergers.

I am very good at filleting fish; a complete natural and better than the woman teaching the class!
