Really sorry to post in AIBU! Not sure where to post and after some advice.
I’ve trawled the internet but can’t find an answer to my question.
I have a raised mole just above my upper lip on one side. I’ve always had it but when I was a child it was a flat mole and it has evolved over time!
It’s been raised now for probably over 20 years and is still a neat circle shape.
It’s a bit of a family trait and part of me so don’t want to completely remove it but I don’t like the raised part of it!
so is it possible to (sand it? Shave it?) back down to being flat but keeping the pigment there? I’ve seen that you can have them shaved off but it only says about completely removing it.
If anyone can answer I would be really grateful as don’t want to make an unnecessary dermatologist appointment!
