Just that really? Bought some tops recently, haven't washed them on a hot wash or anything and they've all shrunk?? Anyone else found this with matalan clothes?

Have you tried ironing the shape and length back in? A lot of my stuff 'shrinks' but is fine once ironed

twincessesmummy · 10/04/2018 10:33

No I'll have to try that, only ever found it with the tops from matalan though, annoying

Yes they do. Tesco ones do as well, some of them are awful for that :( Waste of money if you've just bought a new top wash it once and it comes out like that.

Glad it's not just me! It's so annoying! What a waste of money! If I'd of wanted a crop top id of bought one! Hmm

Yes. I bought what I intended to be a few over sized shirts. I bought them a couple of sizes bigger than I usually am. They are now tiny and just about cover my hips. Like you, I haven't washed them especially hot or tumble dried them.

MaxPepsi · 10/04/2018 11:50

Nope. Never and I buy a lot of my clothes from there.

In fact I'm dressed entirely by them today.

I love the quality and the fact it all washes so well. I get all of DH's work polo shirts from there too (and the rest, he hates clothes shopping) and all his stuff washes well too!

So strange it's just the tops i buy from there that's a certain material. Everything else is fine!
