When you mention a man's name ie work colleague or acquaintance and someone very publicly says do you fancy them or you've got a thing for them haven't you? A work colleague and my sister used to do this it's bloody inappropriate and embarrassing

I agree OP. Part of the reason I chose to go to an all-girls secondary school.
You may well fancy him but other people bringing it up constantly would do my head in too.

Not the same man. I've seen people do it to others aswell and it makes me cringe

I'm not talking about any particular man I find it cringe when you can't even mention a name in passing without the you fancy him thing going on
