We're due to go camping twice in summer holidays, beginning and end. I'm due on both times!! The day we leave to the day we get back! And to make matters worse, my teenage daughter recently started her period and seems to be in sync with me. So annoying 😩😩

Get some norethisterone and delay it

cablewable · 09/04/2018 18:13

Does it mess up your cycle? I've never used it before

I've used it and it did mess up my cycle for 2 cycles - they were about 3 days longer, then back to normal after that. Totally worth it.

AnyFucker · 09/04/2018 18:23

It might do

It gave me murderous pmt too, but hey 😁

gluteustothemaximus · 09/04/2018 18:30

If you already have murderous PMT - what does it do?!? Grin

I always seem to have the best luck with periods. Every sodding holiday. Every Christmas. Every Birthday.

Even when it looks like my cycle is on track to miss an important event, something happens (I start late one month) and then I'm nicely on track for the important event.

I wouldn't mind, but they last 7 days, are horrendously heavy, and I need to be near the toilet. And woe betide anyone who gets in my way Grin

birdladyfromhomealone · 09/04/2018 18:30

I always take it when I go away. It makes me bloated look pregnant but worth it. I come on the day after I stop taking it and come on at the right time the month after

cablewable · 09/04/2018 18:43

I'm going to have a look into it! Although yes I also suffer with the most awful pmt 😳😳

Where do you get this stuff? I think I may need it as going on holiday in August and I think I will be due for the holiday, although it is often late.

AnyFucker · 09/04/2018 20:04

I heard you can buy it without prescription from a pharmacy but I get my gp to prescribe it

Norethisterone is good, but can draw attention to any existing ovarian problems you didn’t know you had, as it can increase the chance of developing cysts.
