Should I just get over it or can I be annoyed

I cook every night I enjoy it and I get home a lot earlier. Today I got out some chicken wings out the freezer and some fresh ones from the food delivery shop this morning. I seasoned them with spices olied and chopped some veg up and went to work. He’s just text me an hour after he finishes work saying he forgot it’s curry club. I mentioned the fact I had already heated the oven and got dinner on the go. He dosnt seem to care he can’t understand why I’m annoyed has said to save them for tomorrow instead. I know I should probably not get so annoyed by it but he does this so Often.

I’d be annoyed. Invite your mates round to help you eat them tonight, then inform him he’s cooking tomorrow night.

If he does it all the time i’d Be pissed off. Every now and then . . . Let it go

Rainboho · 04/04/2018 19:21

Just save them - you can eat them cold.

Then tell him you were pissed off.

That’s about it really, unless he demands that you cook or does it every night.

If he did it every week then fair enough, I'd be annoyed too. But if it's just a one-off I really couldn't be arsed to get annoyed and I'd just either eat them myself tonight or have them with him tomorrow. It's a bit of a pain but nothing mega in the grand scheme of things

Fruitcorner123 · 04/04/2018 19:25

You didnt even start cooking them yet so whats the big deal? Yes let it go.

Ivorbig1 · 04/04/2018 19:26

Is curry club a regular thing?
is it abit silly to be cross if you both forgot?
Just put them by for tomorrow.

TheDowagerCuntess · 04/04/2018 19:32

That does sound annoying, but aren't those little annoyances par for the course in adult life?

If you're suggesting he forego curry club and come home and have dinner - that's not exactly going to be an enjoyable dinner for the two of you, if he'd rather be somewhere else.

I think this can be filed under 'worse things happen at sea', with a deep breath and move on. Stewing over it is only going to make you feel worse.💐

gamerwidow · 04/04/2018 19:34

Yes it's annoying but it's not really that big a deal. At least it's food that can easily be cooked and saved for tomorrow.

Happybunny1994 · 04/04/2018 20:18

I got over it I’m hormonal full of cold and just written it off curry club happens once a month on any random day
