To be pissed off!

I have a 2 year old dd. I tell dp I'm going for a lie down because I'm feeling poorly. Currently pregnant 24weeks. Now aibu to be pissed off that I've been woken up by dd and he's on his computer with his headphones on! it's not the fact that I've been woken up I'm annoyed about. It's that he knew he was responsible but is blatantly ignoring her!!!!

YANBU I would wait until your dd is in bed and make it very clear how unimpressed you are. Did he even realise she had come to find you?

Pretty irresponsible of him - anything could have happened and he wouldn't have heard.

What did he say when you said you were going for a lie-down?

I would be fuming tell him to get off of the bloody computer and look after DD.

I told him my tummy was hurting and needed to lie down. He said ok see you in a bit. So he was aware I was gone. He's not even batted an eye that she was crying. His headphones are sound proof. You can't hear anything with them on. I hate that computer. It's always number one. I've told him so many times how I feel about it. I've had enough.

Tell him it's a bloody good job she didn't have an accident and if she had it would have been entirely his fault.

Is he always useless?

Yeah he's pretty much useless. He knows I'll get up so he doesn't pay attention. If she ever hurt herself I'd be so angry. If she was older it wouldn't be so bad but two! Why do blokes love computers so much.
