Why don't you go along with it? Always good for a giggle in my opinion. I've had a few emails from 'Nigerian princes' in my time and I always play along with them.
Maybe a bit sad, but it passes the time!

I got one from 'An American Soldeer' called John Fred who kindly included a link to how to send my bank details so he could transfer all his money to me.

This has been going on long before email.
When i worked for charity with a royal patron we had the same letter except it was on a lined piece of paper torn from a school book addressed to Dear Princess.
