My partner and I recently split due to alcoholism and anger abuse. I was always envious of his ex because she seemed like a real force to be reckoned with. She now has a wealthy partner who funds this amazing lifestyle and looks great for her age as her looks have always been important to her. My ex was the same, image was key, whereas I was much more casual about things and I often felt like maybe his missed the status he had with her. Whenever I hear about her, I feel real pangs of envy and I don’t know why. I have beautiful babies, am solvent financially but I just feel jealous even now. I’m usually quite insightful but can’t see why I’m feeling this way, any thoughts for dumb old me?
