Posting for traffic.

I went last week and bought a massager thing. It's ok but I paid too much.

Anyway, I can't find replacement pads anywhere. I mean anywhere in the Uk. This company have no online or social media presence. I've been had, but even so the product is fine.

So if anyone is going today would you be kind enough to speak to the guys on the Mooyee stand and find out where replacement pads for the massager can be purchased please? It's the M1.

I have emailed and messaged the show too. And done some stupid WeChat thing on Mooyees website.

Or any other help from clever people???

Would you be able to use toupee tape?

cupoflemontea · 01/04/2018 11:29

I think it needs gel to conduct electricity ? Like a tens machine?

I think toupee tape would just 'stick'?

Thanks though!

Last day - hopeful little bump Smile

I asked for you today and they admitted you can't get specific replacements. They suggested you use pads for a TENS machine but they will be rectangular. Apparently these are available at Holland and Barretts and Boots?

cupoflemontea · 02/04/2018 21:42

Really? Thanks so much. Although what gits they are.

I have been in contact with an Aussie seller on eBay who will ship to the U.K. but will go to Holland and Barrett.

Thank you!

That's shocking that they sold it to you but without being able to buy replacement pads - I'd be furious and putting strong words on their social media as well as on the show's social media - I'm guessing they don't want to be associated with stalls that are not selling proper products (because to sell a product that needs a replaceable pad without selling the pads is more of a scam than a product).

Sorry you've been caught out by this.

cupoflemontea · 02/04/2018 21:44

I know!

But they actually don’t have a social media presence that I can find.

Ideal Home Show haven’t got back to me either.

No trouble. I hope they work.

cupoflemontea · 02/04/2018 21:52

Oh I think you have just solved the problem!

these look like they’ll fit. Brilliant!

You would expect the companies that are exhibiting at the Ideal Home Show would be vetted. I went on Friday and found a few stalls to be unapproachable due to the hard sell.

cupoflemontea · 02/04/2018 21:56

Yes it was very pressured this year. Skin Care ones seemed to be the worse. Oh and charities.

Hello Fresh were loathesome too.

I was very excited to see Screen With Envy there. I remember the company being named by Mumsnetters some time ago.

cupoflemontea · 02/04/2018 22:02

Oh what was that?

CoddledAsAMommet · 02/04/2018 22:04

They do decorative screens for gardens- posh trellis really! I have no need of it whatsoever but am pleased they're doing well enough to rent a stand which must be very pricey.

cupoflemontea · 02/04/2018 22:09

Ah. I thought it was virtual reality! Blush

@CoddledAsAMommet I just wanted to say come back and say Thankyou.

I bought boots own TENS replacent pads and they fit and work perfectly.

I'd never have thought of doing that had you not asked for me Smile

I'm so glad it worked. Honestly, no trouble. We were passing their stand anyway and as I'd seen your post earlier it would have been silly not to have asked. Hope you feel the benefit of the massage!
