And go for a wee?

No it's fine. You'll soon be snug again and comfortable.

Prusik · 01/04/2018 06:58

Count to ten and go for it. Then snuggle down and enjoy getting back into a warm bed. Don't forget to cover the duvet back over when you get out to hold the warm in.

I'm bloody freezing. No heating or hot water. Cosleeping with 10 week old ds2 which was the pits because I was worried I'd pull the duvet up. I didn't but now the cold is in my bones

Middleoftheroad · 01/04/2018 07:06

Im.cold so have just flicked on my electric blanket. Bliss!

LoniceraJaponica · 01/04/2018 07:19

I feel your pain. Our heating has packed up so no warmth or hot water in our house this weekend Sad

speakout · 01/04/2018 07:20

Do it and grab a coffee on the way.

Wildlady · 01/04/2018 07:24

Finally been. I had to brave it as was getting desperate having been holding on since 6:30.

I was holding a wee as DD is in the bedroom with us and didn't want to wake her up. But the bottom of her cot has just fell through and woke her up with a bit of a shock.
I should have got up at 6.30 anyway, so much for a lie in

Alison100199 · 01/04/2018 07:33

I had this half an hour ago, got up and came back to bed with tea and a hot water bottle. I cannot describe how toasty I now feel Smile.

Wildlady · 01/04/2018 07:37

@Alison

Don't torment me. My hot water bottle started leaking one day last week.

@BexleyRae

Awww. Always feels when you have a wee after holding it for ages anyway.

Wildlady · 01/04/2018 07:39

Always feels *nicer.

Clandestino · 01/04/2018 07:40

Just did that + fed the cats before they start feeding on us and made myself a nice coffee. What a feeling!

mumof2sarah · 01/04/2018 07:41

I've been the exact same. Don't want to wake anyone up and have to officially start the day because I'm enjoying the peace and the quiet lol x

EdmundCleverClogs · 01/04/2018 07:47

Awww. Always feels when you have a wee after holding it for ages anyway.

Seriously?

happymummy12345 · 01/04/2018 07:48

Why wouldn't you just go? And enjoy the luxury of a lie in I've forgot what one is

Passthefuckingprosecco · 01/04/2018 08:00

I had a lovely lie in today. My youngest didn't wake up until 6.25. bliss!

I remember when DC1 was little I'd be so cross when exH got up for a wee. I knew it was unreasonable to be annoyed - but every time DS would wake up and my sleep was over (feeding him).

speakout · 01/04/2018 08:05

I'm biting the bullet.

I'm the only one awake so far, I've had a quick shower, getting dressed, off to a Body Pump class at 9am. There is a supermarket nest door so I will pop in before the class to get fresh bread rolls to take home afterwards for breakfast. I'll be red hot by then!!

Bratsandtwats · 01/04/2018 11:22

Won't the supermarket be closed?

speakout · 01/04/2018 11:29

No, supermarkets here only close christmas day.

Otherwise 24/7
