It’s new, never used one before. I’ve added salt, rinse aid, tablet. Pushed the buttons as requested in the manual but everything is still sat crusiting away.

It’s an AEG FSB41000z showing a fault code of I 20 so the manual is telling me.

I suspect the plumber hasn’t finished his side of things... I thought having a dishwasher would make life easier!

Does this page help? Sounds like a problem with the drainage.

Did the plumber not run it through a cycle/ part cycle before leaving?
Is there a delay button that has been pressed?

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 31/03/2018 21:14

Hi Nanny (Aww, haven’t said that for years Smile) I’ve done all the pre checks for drainage although I did omit the pre wash because I’ve not had any thing ie, sink etc for days so once they said it’s all good to go I loaded and went...

Could you have a kink in the hose? Might be worth having a look.

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 31/03/2018 21:16

Plumber was too busy stressing over the waste desposial unit! It was like having 3 manchilds in my kitchen today Hmm I didn’t think to ask, I honestly just wanted them out. I’ve text the kitchen designer...
Off to wash up now

Possibly not turned the water on

JeremyCorbynsBeard · 31/03/2018 21:36

Have you Googled the fault code?

Poshjock · 31/03/2018 21:38

What GreenTulips said. I had this problem first use of new fitted kitchen. Turns out there's an in-line stopcock under the sink that hadn't been turned on and the dishwasher wasn't getting any water. Took me way longer than it should have to work that out!

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 01/04/2018 16:08

It’s fixed. When they plumbed the wage disposal they had two options - plumb with dishwasher or not.

They chose not so the dishwasher wasn’t getting any water. They took the mechanics out, used a screwdriver and hammer to release the valve to allow the water to flow.

Just thought I’d update in case it helps someone else out.
