I hate the Muller adverts featuring Nicole Scherzinger so much that I will not buy their products. Likewise the Wayfair advert with Lorraine Kelly is so annoying that I will not look at their site, let alone buy anything.

What adverts make you avoid a product / retailer or service?

Anything being flogged by an instamum!

Yarboosucks · 30/03/2018 18:45

Oh… You mean those things that make women call each other "hun" all the effing time?

The Nationwide "new customers only" ad with Mark Benton because it made me think it was Nationwide that was rubbish. (Unlike many others I don't mind their current ad).

holyshitdude · 30/03/2018 18:46

G tech, can't stand the smug git on the ad.

Tobuyornot99 · 30/03/2018 18:46

Those shit Nationwide poetry adverts. Grrrr.

Yarboosucks · 30/03/2018 18:48

All bank adverts actually - now they are our friends, on our side on our journey through life…

Agreed about the Nationwide adverts. Especially the "hilarious" singing sisters .

Also the Always continence pads. Why do they have to click their fingers every time they pour liquid into the pad?

emmyrose2000 · 31/03/2018 07:35

Bupa. It's such a stupid, childish and idiotic name, that I can't possible take its product seriously.

Anything sold in one of those 55 hour long advertorials on TV, especially when they have to scream all the way through it. If you can't market your product in a normal 30 second advert, then your product is unsalable.

Anything being flogged/endorsed by a sports person.

witchofzog · 31/03/2018 14:15

Agreed Emmy. Especially that really irritating skin care one by Jorgie someone or other. My stepdaughter fell for the hype and asked for it for Xmas. On investigation it is £35 a month and all the reviews on trust pilot are shocking as it doesn't work and is near on impossible to cancel once you subscribe. Jorgie should be ashamed for endorsing such shite

Any sanitary products that are for people with blue periods…
