Stella and Dot HELP!

One of the Mum’s from my NCT group has started selling Stella and Dot jewellery. I’ve been to two of her style sessions and although I like a lot of the designs, it just seems so overpriced

YANBU. Stella & Dof is an MLM (multi level marketing) thing. Aka has elements of a pyramid scheme. Steer clear! There's a whole breed of people who get sucked into these things believing they can make money easily - mums are especially vulnerable. It basically relies on people's friends buying stuff from them out of obligation.

I just can’t justify paying the price for costume silver/gold plated jewellery.

Massively overpriced for what it is. The designs are not that original either, you can pick up similar items a lot cheaper elsewhere. Like you, I bought a small item to show support but have dodged later invites.

It's very expensive. My friend sells it and I've been to one party but it's quite embarrassing when you're asked to host a party and then your friends are obliged to buy things.

Yanbu! Horribly overpriced. As others have said, it’s basically a pyramid scheme. If you do give in and buy anything she will then start putting you under pressure to “join her team”.... stand firm!!!
