Tree surgeon shredding the branches on shared drive

My landlord called in a tree surgeon to trim down tree in back garden. This morning two blokes arrive and park on our shared drive right outside my bedroom window/street door and squeezed in next to my car. I went out and said hello and pointed out we'd left a swing in the tree and apologised because I didn't know they were coming today, he grunted at me and that was it.

I then heard a roaring noise and could smell fumes and realised he was putting the branches through that grinding machine right outside my window/door! My window was open! I've looked outside and my car is getting pelted with the debris off the branches as they're going the machine!!

I've gone out moved my car and told them they should've asked me to move my car before they started grinding as my car is now covered in bits of tree!!! Again I was grunted at!!

AIBU or is that really unbelievably frigging inconsiderate and out of order? I'm fuming! I'd only just cleaned my car and it could easily have scratched my paint work.

Last time we had a tree surgeon taking a large tree down I spent a lot of time 'cooking'.He was young, stripped to the waist....no complaints from me.

Yeah that would annoy me too. Hows your car?

That’s very unprofessional of them and I would be annoyed too. I recently got a nasty dent from a branch flying over a hedge as a tractor was hedge cutting on the other side to the road, so you’re lucky if there is no damage.
