To ask for any experience/info on CBD and epilepsy?

Posting here as posted in general health but got no replies!

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of this? I have epilepsy, was diagnosed as an adult following a seizure and ever since I have averaged about 2-3 seizures a month. I take lamatrogine which I don’t enjoy the side effects of but it’s the medication which has reduced me seizures the most. I’ve seen a few people and articles talking about the benefits of CBD oil and apparently it can help with epilepsy? Has anyone had any experience with it or can point me in the direction of more information relating to its benefits regarding epilepsy?

Don’t know anything about CBD but I have epilepsy. I take lamotragine, topirimate and perampenol. The first two were ok but once peramponal was added in my seizures virtually came to a standstill. I am now 12 months seizure free and before that it was 8 months. Maybe ask about that drug but beware, it’s like a sleeping tablet! I take mine at about 10pm and i’m Spark out within 20mins.
