Has anyone watched "The Affair"?

I'm hooked, almost obsessed and am in season 3 (so no spoilers please). Did anyone watch it? AIBU to think it's one of the best TV series ever made?

We watched all three series back to back, completely hooked. Noah is a tool, though, and his books sound dreadful!

I keep meaning to watch it, but I haven't. I love Ruth Wilson.

I loved it! Although I think they lost it a bit in season 3.

I’ve only seen season 1 but I loved the way the flashbacks didn’t quite tally as people’s memories don’t, and how his lense was so different to hers - I’ve seen this done well in books but not in TV before.

But yes, what either woman sees in Noah...

Hooked but the last series ended on such a whimper we didn't even realise it was a series ending episode! Kept wondering when the next one would be on,
Basically first two series very engaging but the last one felt like they were just padding out with dull content. Very little of Alison who I felt was a much more interesting character. Seemed far too concentrated in Noah and his self absorbed storyline. Not sure I'll bother with the next one tbh.

I thought the ending of S3 was quite good. A bit abrupt but still significant (trying not to spoil).

Anyway...only one reason to watch The Affair for me.....Cole.
