I don't understand the terms either, I get a bit fed up with all the labels, why can't we just be who we want without having all the complex definitions? I am sure there is a reason why people like a label but I am very ignorant as to why we need so many.

I just want to point out that all the terms like cis and TERF aren't invented by the feminists (not the ones on here, anyway). The TRAs have invented them to describe various women.

There seem to be a certain contingent of people who pride themselves in their ignorance “these days”.

ssd it means transactivists. That is one thing which is stopping it getting out to the mainstream - all the bloody labels! (But the posters on here didn't make the labels - the trans lobby did.) It's v confusing, I have only understood since reading the threads and having them patiently explained by other posters.
