Colleague doing my head in

Colleague is very upset because she has got a speeding ticket. She is telling everyone she has a 'lot on her plate' because she has got a speeding ticket, works full time ( she has no kids), and some people we work with have died - we work with very elderly people so sadly this is part of the job.

I do have a lot on my plate and feel like telling her to stfu. I won't though. Just trying to ignore her.

You need to work on your zoning out. I am simultaneously able to smile, nod and murmur agreement at appropriate moments without ever listening to a word one of my colleagues says. Keep the peace!

I need to learn how to do that. I think normally I can filter it out better. Its more because I do have a lot on my plate and don't moan about it like this woman.
