Baby shower high tea?

Sorry I know this is Aibu but I’m not sure where else to ask. I have been invited to a baby shower (my first) today and I’m not sure what to bring. It’s a high tea. I have gifts I’ve already bought for the baby - do I bring these? I usually give the gifts when the baby has arrived and I visit the mum. If I give the gifts today - do I then buy more gifts for when I meet the baby? Thank you!

There’s no set rules, but personally I would bring a small gift for the Mum to be, and keep the baby presents for when the baby is born

I would take the presents to the baby shower. And then a very small token when the baby is born, if you would like.

Everyone bought their gifts to my baby shower. And if I were going to one I wouldn’t want to risk being the only one who didn’t take a proper gift!

Better yet- gifts at baby shower and when you meet the baby take a simple but healthy cooked meal for the mum and dad! :)

Thank you!
