I’m no fan of Jeremy hunt but would you prefer him to remain silent?

Horrid wording and a somewhat personal question to ask but I think he was really trying to understand more about the issue.

Nimko Ali who is a famous campaigner regarding FGM says the Tories have been a lot more willing to listen and want to stop FGM than Labour.

She doesn’t vote for either but she has made it clear Labour are not interested in engaging on this issue.

This was in 2013 in the context of inviting an FGM campaigner to Whitehall. Presumably he is now better informed.
