Running knickers.

You don’t wear knickers under running knickers do you? Or running shorts?

Admittedly I wear a bra under my running top but that’s because I am unusual in running circles in that I am a 30F and 50 years old and need serious stability, but knickers under running knickers????

The chafing!!! The sweat in your crevices!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!

But would you wear a thong under them and if so, why?

Uniqlo seamless microfibre knickers are very like Runderwear and a fraction of the price.

I discovered rundawear last year, holy schmoly what a difference! Before my big girl pants would rub and given my issues with bladder control no way I could manage no pants!!

And I would never wear a thong. Ever.

In summer I wear quite small flappy Ronhill shorts. With knickers underneath.

Fucking hell, I think the days I could get away with wearing running knickers are looooong gone.
These days is knix & leggings-shorts if it's warm & I've been away so have nice tanned legs.

Do men run in their pants too?

ninja my partner goes commando but then if wearing running tights will always wear shorts over the top. (Which should be law for all men actually!)

sirzy at an event recently, not only did I see male runners in tights with no shorts on top, but also one who wore tights which had a contrast colour for the codpiece area.

Agree, when I used to do fell races most runners wore the running shorts with integral lining except the elastic in the lining got loose after a while and fell runners are tight buggers re running kit so often a lot of male dangly bits escaping when relaxing collapsed on the grass afterwards!

Crikey! So that's what my neighbour is wearing! Honestly just thought she had forgotten to get dressed. What a sight. What my dear mum would call making a show of herself!

If you wear leggings type work out gear, do you pants underneath. Genuine question. I do but was looking at work out leggings with see through mesh panels at hip level. Wouldn’t you just see my apple catchers through the panels??

Strangely, I do wear a thong under my winter running tights. The winter tights are quite sturdy and not like the brightly coloured leggings that lots of people wear at the moment.

This has caused debate amongst my running mates - hence my curiosity. The men all wear pants under their shorts no matter how tight they are.

I don't wear any knickers when I run, just leggings.

MissClareRemembers - they don’t sound like proper running tights to me. They sound like the sort of thing worn by people who have make up on at the gym and take selfies!

I have running knickers (seam free, wicking material) but they are underwear, for wearing under running tights..
