To ask if anyone has been to Mataró?

As the title says really. I'm off to Mataró for 4 days with friends and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for restaurants or things to do.
We are staying in a villa 30 minutes walk from the beach and do not have access to a car.

Yes it is. Sorry should have said that in the first post. We are planning a day in Barcelona but we're hoping to eat locally too.
