AmazingGrace16 · 22/03/2018 18:23

£700 for 2 rooms carpet underlay and fitting.
room1 is 3.5x3.4m
room2 is 2.4x2.5m

It depends on the quality of carpet and underlay. If that's a really basic cheap crap one it's expensive. If it's 100% wool and a top of the range underlay then it's a really good bargain price! You need to specify what quality carpet and underlay.

YABU.

Believeitornot · 22/03/2018 18:30

That seems reasonable to me but I like pricey carpets.

Summerisdone · 22/03/2018 18:30

Same as PP, it's dependent on the quality of both underlay and carpet. If it's just basic then that's expensive.

AmazingGrace16 · 22/03/2018 18:35

Thanks!
It's good quality bleach proof and thick pile with good underlay

What percentage wool is it?

Believeitornot · 22/03/2018 19:30

100% polypropylene?

I wouldn’t touch those carpets 😬

AmazingGrace16 · 22/03/2018 21:06

Hmm well it's for a kids bedroom so something stain resistant essential.

It's about £40 per sqm, which is, in my opinion, pricey for kids rooms.

We carpeted the kids rooms last year; thick pile, thick underlay, bleachable etc etc for about half the cost per sqm.
