To have spoken to a disabled driver about M+B spaces....

Suckered you in!

Just been to Tesco and nicked last M+T space next to store with DD in car. As I was about to go into the store I noticed a man and woman being beeped and generally harrassed as they struggled to get his wheelchair out on the roadway as there weren't any disabled spaces left.

Having posted on a certain other thread earlier I remembered the shit blue badge holders have to go through so I then asked them to give me 2 mins while I strapped DD back in (she was not best pleased) and they could have my space. I went and parked somewhere else and walked a little bit further to the shop.

Am feeling very smug!

[have namechanged as I don't want applauding, just to let you know how a thread titled like this should go!)

Was just about to give you a stern talking to.

Well done you.

J20BABY · 08/05/2007 18:33

that was very kind of you

fell a bit ashamed now after muttering about a woman parking in a m+b space the other day, when she had 2 very old ladies in the back, that probably couldn't walk easily
although 10 minutes later, one of them did ram there trolley into my back

ThomCat · 08/05/2007 18:36

Hurray, hurray, hurray.
I know you said you don't want it, but whoever you are, I applaud you.
Bless you, xxxxx
