On neck, what the hell is this lol? It itches to buggery apparently. No change in washing powder, diet etc that I can think of.

Thanks!

No idea but I think antihistamine is the way to go!

PuppyMonkey · 17/03/2018 12:13

Is it a shaving rash or something?

EduCated · 17/03/2018 12:14

Agree with antihistamine! Could eat a pharmacist to have a look.

DullAndOld · 17/03/2018 12:14

Scabies?
Is it mirrored on the other side?

or bedbugs. Sorry.

NormaNameChange · 17/03/2018 12:14

Get thee to a GP! Could be any number of things but it looks quite inflamed... I'm thinking possible foliculitis or maybe impetigo/staph if those are little blisters on his throat?

Beelzebop · 17/03/2018 12:15

No, that was my first thought but not shaved there. Will sort anti histamines. Could it be anything at all to do with slapped cheek? My son had that recently. Blooming men. Quite raised as well.

Eeek. Horrid things like scabies could be possible as a school worker.

It looks like an allergic reaction to something, has he used aftershave?

PuppyMonkey · 17/03/2018 12:17

I’d also be getting a shed load of hydrocortisone on it too but I know others frown on that.

Beelzebop · 17/03/2018 12:18

No mirroring

you said it 'itches to buggery'...
to me that sounds like scabies. It looks like scabies too.
Is it mirrored on the other side?
I became a scabies 'expert' after a horrible attack of it picked up from handling straw..:(
But yes, in schools and residential settings it is common.

DullAndOld · 17/03/2018 12:20

OK, no mirroring, that is good..

PuppyMonkey · 17/03/2018 12:22

Have you got a pharmacy nearby you can go to for advice?

Beelzebop · 17/03/2018 13:07

Thanks all!

Yes, puppy we are going over before the snow gets worse! I don't want to catch anythingWink. I don't think it's bugs or bitey things as I'd have been eaten alive...
