Disclaimer - this is somewhat lighthearted!

DH has the bloody annoying habit of narrating what he is watching on TV to me despite me clearly not watching it. Drives me nuts. I’ve just come upstairs to get away from it and he is now offended.

But he does it all the time despite me pointing out how annoying it is. He will be watching some boring show that I have zero interest in ( usually gang or crime related). It’s perfectly clear that I am not interested in it. I am usually reading or playing around on my phone and not watching at all. Yet he will continue to comment on what is happening on screen. He isn’t talking to himself either he usually expects some response from me.

He has gone in a huff now because I’ve come upstairs and left him too it. I might start commenting out loud about the mumsnet posts I’m reading and see how he likes it Grin

I have the opposite - DH doesn't pay attention and asks me what's happened. Monday night I was in the kitchen making tea when the doof doofs came on enders, and he shouted through to ask me what had happened even though I wasn't in the room 🙈🙈

Better then being ignored! Obviously he enjoys some your company! Smile
