My office mate is actually having a telephone conference whilst I’m sat next to him.

He refuses to turn it off speaker phone, as one of our other colleagues has joined him.

this is before I’ve had my first coffee. Would I be unreasonable to unplug his phone?

I presume that depends on whether you wish to keep you job or not and whether the call is essential to the business?
