Well random painted stones!! Am loving this new craze of painting rocks and hiding them. I get more excited than dd when I find one.

Dd found this one at the weekend. I've named her Gertrude

Our village has just set up a Facebook page for this. I think it’s lovely!x

I can't stand this trend. When I go walking in nature, I do not want to find some rock someone has painted. The rocks look just fine to me with no clarty paint. Realise I might be in the minority, and i can be quite grumpy about thing generally.

Yeah - stop being a grouchy

I think it's a lovely idea and may encourage people to walk more (where possible) if looking for the stones and then finding somewhere new to hide them

Absolutely babam. My dd is 12 and getting to the stage where walking with mum and dad is not cool but rock hunting and hiding is !!

Take only stones, leave only paint.

Or something, I forget.

You'd like geocaching as well then. www.geocaching.com

We found and re-hid about 12 painted rocks whilst on a walk yesterday. My LO loved it. We have brought some plain ones home to paint.

Arealhumanbeing · 12/03/2018 21:53

I’ve never found one! Absolutely love the idea of it. I think it’s a lovely thing to do.

PippaPug · 12/03/2018 22:13

Depending where you are but you may enjoy munzee hunting too :)

I love this - it’s such a happy thing to do!

Creambun2 · 12/03/2018 22:19

This damages the environment when the paint leaches off.

Thesmallthings · 12/03/2018 22:28
