in the park today there were a group of children who are in year 6 at my ds and dd1's school.i have had problems with them before, one of the girls in the group went to kick dd2(17 months) when she was outside the shop in her pushchair(i was just coming out of the shop,dd1 who is 8 was waiting with her),and a couple of the boys followed us on the way home once, shouting abuse.

anyway, most of this group are generally known as troublemakers/bullies.

they were playing with a rugby ball,in the play area, even though there is a multi-purpose pitch in the park.ds2,who is 3.9,kept trying to join in with them, but they threw the ball at his head, then later on threw it at his back.they then threw it near to where i was standing and it only just missed the double buggy(i also have an 8 week old),so i told them i was going to pop the bloody thing if it came anywhere near again.

i went home in the end,as i cant be doing with it.i dont understand why kids have to be so nasty, and why ive never seen any of them with their parents

im so sorry your day turned such a bad experience. i must agree kids are not like kids these days. i always aviod group of kids, just cant bare the whole thing having a go with them, peobably being abuse for that. last year dd was still little baby sleeping in her pushchair outside int he front garden, i was trying to tidy up our overgrown garden. 5-6 kids with bike came across and stood right in front of our drive and started talking loud. i asked them v.v, politely to move somewhere as i have little one sleeping and trying to do some gardening done. they gave me nasty loo and went off by kept passing around in their bike shouting, it was v. v. nasty of them. i was hurt by the fact i was in my garden doing my job. what is the problem, just move somewhere else and do chatting.
oops turned into essay. anyway i do feel for you.
