To want another bath..

Got up at 7am this morning and went for a lovely hot bath to relax (and of course, wash myself Grin) after a busy day and having just had Sunday dinner I really fancy having another bath and then putting on my pjs and chilling for the evening with a glass of Wine

DP tells me I really shouldn't do this. It's costing us money for me to do this and is a waste of water.

I do see his point, but it's not something I ever usually do. I usually bath once or twice a week when I have chance to have a nice long soak and shower the other days.

Would it be unreasonable?

Does he never waste money? Never buys a t-shirt he doesn't strictly need, never buys beer or cake, never buys himself a novel or a film on demand?

If he does, tell him people in glass houses!

Yeah! Think I'm going for another bath thanks @Pengggwn

Do it! Yes it's wasting money but it will be literally pennies. Totally worth it for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Tell him it's his Mother's Day present to you and for the sake of a quid you're well worth it!

We all waste money, unless you always wear five jumpers rather than turn the heating on, wear clothes until they fall apart beyond mending, eat only beans and lentils, walk everywhere, etc

A bath is a very reasonable thing to waste money on. And really how much does it actually cost? The equivalent of a cup of coffee?

Unless you’re on the bones of your arse and can’t afford any wasted pennies and you are both doing everything possible to save money, he’s being ridiculous
