We are looking to book a wedding anywhere in the Caribbean for either Easter or August 2019. The only stipulation is that there must be free child places for the families who need them. We will have around 60 guests flying out but everywhere that says they have free child places (virgin, moon palace cancun) miraculously doesn’t have them when you go to book. I feel that I’m being pretty open minded but surely it shouldn’t be this much of a problem when there will likely be 60 people paying £2000 each so around £120,000 in total?! AIBU is this not a big booking for such companies? Any help/ideas/experiences to stop me losing my mind looking, would be greatly appreciated.

Go via a travel agent they can arrange it all hassle free and give you a huge discount

Beaches resorts?

Word of warning - we had our honeymoon in Antigua at the end of August / early September last year. Hurricane Irma wrecked the entire region while we were out there, and we spent a very frightening night hunkering down and hoping for the best.

Several poor buggers out there were getting married on the day it hit and the day after it passed. The resort survived, but their wedding was not what they had expected of course. We were evacuated 2 days after it hit. Imagine flying out and being flown home 3 days later!

Maybe sure everyone's insurance includes hurricane cover specifically, and that you look into wedding insurance.

Could you hire somewhere over there perhaps?
