To just want to stay home

Dd (6) has been poorly this week. (bad cold cough, headache and sore throat) so she's had a few days off school feeling rubbish.
Yesterday I started with the same cold. I ache and feel rubbish.

Dh is taking our ds out this afternoon to watch football and asked what we had planned.
I said nothing.
He suggested we go into town. (To get out of the house. ..dd hasn't been out for a couple of days )
I said I keep going dizzy so don't really want to wander around town.
He says we could find something to do in town without wandering around too much.

Am I really being unreasonable to just want to lay on the sofa in my pjs and do nothing while I feel poorly. Not to mention dd was up in the night coughing so is tired too...so was thinking we might even have a nap.

Snuggle up with a blanket, maybe pop out and get some snacks/treats.

What the fuck is it to your DH what you and DD do while he's elsewhere, controlling much? Do as you like! If he's that bothered about DD getting fresh air he can take her to football, or if that's not possible sack it off and do something else with both his children. Jesus. You're not the au pair!

My grandfather was like this. If we were reading or watching TV (pre internet) he's be like "Get some fresh air, get off the sofa" but at our cousin's house (they were all boys, had a garden and were always in it) it was "come inside and help your mother" or "you should read a book!"

Stay in OP. These colds and flu going around are taking a long time to recover from.

And it's what business of his what you do?

Dd is still not well so I wouldn't inflict sitting in the cold for 2 hours on her.

We have a sofa bed in the lounge so thinking of pulling it out and having a dvd day.

What’s it got to do with your DH what you do when he isn’t there? Have your duvet day no one is stopping him and DS from going out.
