Breast worry

I’ve tried finding a relevant place to post this but have struggled so am posting here in the hope I can get some help / reassurance / support.

I’m 7 weeks postpartum and have noticed that one breast looks quite a bit different compared to pre-pregnancy and the other one.

The nipple is a lot lower and the breast slightly saggier. I haven’t breastfed at all.

I’m laying here unable to sleep with worry. I’ll obviously visit the doctor on Monday, but was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is normal?

After DC1 I never experienced this.

This is completely normal.

@eltonjohnssyrup thank you for replying. So it’s normal after pregnancy even though I’ve not breastfed? Looking in the mirror there is a noticeable difference in ‘sagginess’ and there the nipples now sit. One is pre-pregnancy normal and the other is now worrying me.

Any advice, reassurance or support would be greatly appreciated.

Definitely get checked out to be safe BUT I read recently that it is the hormonal changes during pregnancy that cause changes to breast tissue and not necessarily breastfeeding. So it could be a normal pregnancy related change.

It’s being pregnant that changes your breasts, not just breastfeeding.

Changes to your breasts are a result of pregnancy and your genes, not breastfeeding. I would get it checked, as it's definitely worth erring on the side of caution when you notice changes like this, but it is unlikely to be anything to worry about.
