I was listening to Jeremy Vine today and Alexis Pepper de Cares being interviewed about storming the board meeting of Save the Children (I love her a little bit).

His phone in was then about how companies have dealt with sexual harassment in the workplace.

I reported someone’s vile behaviour towards me a few years ago - so this decade (and I work for the LA) and basically nothing happened and the guy got paid off.

On National Women’s Day (I was born on the first one so also my bday Gin ) I just wondered how many other women and men have been taken seriously regarding this at work and AIBU to think in 2018 I cannot believe that things aren’t actually really changing. It’s all very well stars coming out and being lauded in the #metoo campaign but for us, the mere minions who just need to pay our rent etc is the tide really turning as I don’t think I would bother to report someone again as it was so stressful for nothing to actually happen.
