Fuming with hairdresser?!

I’m having extensions put in and 45 minutes before my appointment she tells that they haven’t arrived.

I get that it’s out of her control but surely she could have pre- warned me.

I lost s days holiday for nothing.

I'm not surprised you're peeved. Not so much at her as she may have only just found out herself, but at the situation.
I don't doubt you were looking forward to them, as well. Can you get a quick appointment somewhere else

How could she have pre warned you? When were they supposed to arrive?

Your hairdresser will be just as fuming as you are as has had to let a client down.
That's no small thing in business.

she is cutting really short if she was expecting them to turn up 45mn before your appointment! Of course YANBU to be fuming.

Deliveries seem to have suffer badly from the national "snowmageddon", it is possible it's a very unusual delay, and her orders usually turn up on time. For last minute cancelled appointments, I would expect a discount - always had them offered the rare times a delay or reschedule happened to me.
