Boden clothes sizing

I'm slim, honestly. But I am struggling with Boden size 6. Who the hell can wear these clothes? Surely not lithe 14 year olds as he have JohnnyB for that.

Is that a US size 6?

I thought Boden clothes are quite generously cut. Are you slim but tall? What size do you wear in top shop?

I have something size 6 from Boden and it fits ok.

I find Boden clothing to be on the larger side, not the smaller side.

Em...why don't you try an 8 then? I wear a 6 from Boden an generally an 8 elsewhere. Their clothes are usually cut quite generously.

I wear waist 25 jeans. Wear size 0 in gap. Maybe I am just putting on weight! The Boden size 8 thinks seem big but the size 6 dresses seem minuscule. Cardigans OK

Jersey dresses etc fine but recently bought a non stretch dress and was worried about tearing it. Think i will have to try 8. I am about 5ft 6

Boden sizing isn't very consistent, but usually runs rather large than small.
Just buy whichever size fits! Surely it doesn't matter what it says on the label

I didn't think of stealth boasting. I think the jeans are generous and dresses are normal. I'm a 1 or 2 in Gap.

It's not a stealth boast! I am genuinely baffled by the sizing. I buy most of my clothes from eBay so don't get to return them if they are wrong

I'm usually a 10 and find Boden quite generous sizing. Usually a 10 fits, sometimes I need an 8.

Kangar - are you sure you're not buying US 6s off eBay (which are UK 8/10)

I don't know about adult clothes, but I bought my 8 year old daughter an age 10 swimsuit and it was smaller than an aged 5 one from M&S. She cried and asked if she was fat (she's not, but she is tall). I complained about their ridiculous sizing and now only buy when they send the free vouchers.

It's probably my job too. I'm not in an office job and a lot of the time I am sat on the floor! This means I need clothes to have a bit of give.
