To not understand how to make a new untraceable profile?

I want to ask about something outing. Do I have to make a new email address and then make a new account? There are some people who seem to take pleasure in digging through your old posts and saying things like ‘ahah! But you said you live in Wales but your last post is about how you said you that news incident happened where you live and that’s not in Wales!

I just need some advice and feedback, but without having people I know look at me differently.

Just change names but within the same account. Mumsnet HQ can see all your old names but we can't.

BUT REMEMBER TO TEST YOUR NAME CHANGE FIRST...... I have seen people think they have done it right but haven't...

So when they click on ‘John Smith’ people can’t see what ‘Rosamund’ wrote?
