Has anyone had to deal with their child being bullied. My son is 10 and just found out that a child has been aweful to him, with at first verbal abuse. The school has been told ,and have been great. Last week we found out the same day as I was going to see them as their was a incident where this child was physically abusive to our son and I was going to see them about this, however I found out from the school they had been called into the headmasters office that day because it happened again. The headmaster was great as he explaned to me that they would not tolerate this childs behavour, and I also told him about my concerns as I had been told by my son this child had done something else. However I feel aweful that he has gone through this..I feel so bad for him even though he says he is fine..am I over-reacting.

No you are not overreacting at all. Good for you for dealing with it so promptly. It sounds as if the Head is also montoring the situation quite closely though which is a good thing.

Thankyou, i have been feeling so guilty cos I feel I should have done more...he says he is fine but I still feel bad...and worried that he is not okay even though he says he is fine.
