I am a single parent to twins who have just turned 2 (there father walked out when they were 8 weeks old and hasn’t seen them since) but thats fine with me we’re muddling through. My brother and sister in law had their 1st baby 8 months ago and all sil has done since then is whinge that she never gets to see her friends and has no social life - well what did she expect? I was a proper party girl before I had my kids I went out every night of the week and my friends were my life but I understood that it would change when I had my babies, I never go out, I work and look after my dc. Anyway every time I saw her she would moan that she never had time to work out so I offered to look after my niece on Friday evenings so she could go to Zumba that soon turned into me having her over night so sil could go swimming after her class, I’ve been doing it for 3-4 months now. Last week a mutual friend showed me loads of pictures of her on Facebook apparently she goes out every Friday night and isn’t even a member of the gym! She is a sahm and my brother works nights so there are times when she could go out in the day during the week but she chooses not to. I love my niece loads and don’t mind babysitting but am really annoyed that she has lied to me. Aibu?
