Literally my stomach turns when I see the flyer....

I get home late, and it's needed for Friday.... Any ideas welcome - it's World Book Day theme so all baking needs to be inspired by a book or character - any ideas to at least look like I'm a domestic, motherly goddess?????

Red and white striped cupcakes = where's Wally

Charlie and the Chocolate factory = chocolate cupcakes, chocolate icing, chocolate sprinkles and chocolate buttons on top!

Omg poor you! WBD is bad enough without having to bake for it as well. Buy a packet of gingerbread men?

Fugitivefrombrusstice · 06/03/2018 17:30

Ice 11 of the cupcakes in bright green and one in red. Pipe a face on the red one. Arrange them in a wiggly line. Voila! The very hungry caterpillar!

Massive chocolate cake with chocolate ganache a la Ms Trunchbull?

Dollygirl2008 · 06/03/2018 18:36

Am loving your ideas and inspiration - honestly, I'm as creative as a brick and really struggle with these kind of things!!!!!

Get a baking tray, a sharpie and a gingerbread man cutter. Draw around cutter several times, and send in as runaway gingerbread men from the story.

In all seriousness...porridge oaty golden syrup flapjacks from Goldilocks and the 3 bears?
