Put veet on my armpits. Left it less than 5 minutes as it started to burn (instructions are at least 5 min, mx 10 min). Have washed it off but skin is red and burns and hurts. Have got wet flannels with an ice pop in under each armpit. What the fuck do I do?

The best thing I ever used for a reaction like that was neat witch hazel. It cools and soothes straight away. The reaction was on my face.

Definitely a burn not an allergic reaction. It didn't burn my legs or, ahem, anywhere else! Apparently it cam react with the aluminium in deodorant and that's what burns. They need to put that on the packaging! I mean, I'm not some dumbarse (I'm someknobend), but the point of this stuff is it's in-shower stuff, so you put it on THEN shower. Anyway, lesson learned for me, good luck to the next poor bastard that tries this shit!
