Aibu to try and get some sleep

Folks not so much AIBU but I really need some wisdom.

I have a fabulous 7 month old who is thriving and pretty much exclusively bf. (Occ formula but looking to move totally to ff in coming weeks).

Sleep had always been dreadful. I've coped on a fairly regular 5x a night waking with partial co sleeping (half way through the night as reqd). However I really want to get on top of this before I go back to work in a few months.

There is totally a dependance on feeding for comfort but I think there's probably one real feed a night at the moment (one night feed would be a dream!).

How do I break the feeding to sleep habit and start getting some longer stretches, before I run away to the circus?
