To think certain songs should be banned from Desert Island Discs?

Lighthearted (obviously!) but really, can we ban things like Edith Piaf's Je regrette rien (sp?) and Nessun Dorma? Please, find something else.

How dare people like good music

I think they must ask the guests to change their choices sometimes otherwise there would be multiple repeats.

I remember my parents listening and the choices always being worthy classical pieces whereas now it’s almost all pop classics. I would like a bit more of a mix.
