To ask advice about frozen sausages

I know it's not technically an aibu but I need to reply to someone within the next hour or so.

Moving house soon, can't take freezer with me so selling on gumtree. Have 20 ish frozen sausages in freezer. Could use them over 2 days but lady wants to collect tomorrow morning.

Can I cook them, leave in fridge and reheat 24hrs later? Only ask as they're cook from frozen and for some reason this has thrown me!

And if I can, what's the best way to reheat? Oven or zap in microwave?

Thanks in advance for collective mn wisdom

Yes you could cook them and then put them in the fridge to use over the next couple of days. I would probably nuke them to reheat

ineedamoreadultieradult · 03/03/2018 16:19

Cool them all eat some hot. Leave the rest to go.cool.and put in the fridge and eat cold later. I personally wouldn't reheat them but Unlike cold sausages.

Lifeisabeach09 · 03/03/2018 16:25

Alternatively, defrost some today (in a bag soaking in warm water) and leave the rest to defrost in coldest part of fridge for tomorrow.

RhubarbYoghurt · 03/03/2018 16:27

I'm disappointed. I thought this was an....can I sell these sausages on gumtree thread 😂

Think I need another coffee Grin

Oven cook.. eat or pop in fridge.

Confused
UrsulaPandress · 03/03/2018 16:36

I too thought someone was coming to collect the sausages tomorrow?

Do you have a dog?

Jeanvaljean27 · 03/03/2018 16:37

I'd treat in the same way as you do fresh sausages, which I often buy and freeze and then defrost before cooking.

Turn them into 2 separate dishes and stick in fridge. Then reheat in microwave, oven or hob depending on what you've cooked.

Thanks everyone, I'll cook, eat some, fridge some then nuke tomorrow. Didn't realise I had so many sausages! Would love to put them on gumtree to see what happens Grin

I must be tired, having read everything I've written none of it makes much sense. Having a grammar/punctuation flop today.

Sausage casserole with leftovers after a sausage sandwich? Last a few meals in the fridge

falsepriest · 03/03/2018 16:45

I love a sausage sandwich (white bread, buttered) for what it's worth. I'll be round in ten! Grin

MereDintofPandiculation · 03/03/2018 16:51

If you put them in a sealed box and put them outside, they'd take till Monday to thaw. Unless you're in the SW which is allegedly beginning the thaw.

TheRealCinderella · 03/03/2018 16:57

@RhubarbYoghurt hahahaha me too so your post made me chuckle

upsidedownfrown · 03/03/2018 17:21

I am indeed in the sw. We've gone from 30cm of snow to pretty much gone within 12 hours (in the city, countryside still quite snowy). The thaw has most definitely started which is great as I was freaking out about trying to move house in the snow.
