So we've had a poorly LO for at least two weeks now, haven't had more than 2 hours (at the most) unbroken sleep. LO been super clingy and haven't had a second to myself. DP comes home from work, he works away Mon - Fri but couldn't get home last night because of the weather. He has been drinking last night come home with a hangover, sat in the bath for an hour then gone for a nap Angry AIBU I expected him to come home and let me have a bath and relax.

YANBU.

Wake him up. Tell him it’s his turn to parent and your turn to rest.

Dick head.

araiwa · 03/03/2018 15:21

Wait until he wakes up then you go for a bath?

TheRealCinderella · 03/03/2018 15:22

I would like to but don't want to inflict that on LO, he is absolutely useless with a hangover and will be no good with her. But thanks for confirming he is in-fact acting like a dickhead. Makes me feel a bit better. I understand he's been at work and is entitled to have a drink every now and then. He doesn't understand how hard been a full time mum is.

Where di he sleep if he couldn't get home - was he on the floor in his office or stuck on a train or on the motorway in his car ? Context is everything,

TheRealCinderella · 03/03/2018 15:24

In a hotel. He slept in a hotel, had a night in the pub then a bed to himself
