Eye wrinkles at 27?!

What the fuck. I just got out of the bath, had a look in the mirror closely, and to my horror, I have fucking wrinkles. I dont drink or smoke, teetotal. Im about 4.5 stone overweight though, but still. I have really good skin. Is it normal to have slight crows feet around and under the eyes? I have forehead lines tooSad

I still get ID'd though, just not as much as I used to.

You said you looked closely. I imagine a lot of people would also find wrinkles.

If you're not happy about them, up your skin care regimen with whatever is aimed at wrinkles, failing that get Botox or a chemical peel.

LaurenBrye · 02/03/2018 19:26

Well I think from 25 is when the signs of aging show.

Use retinol

cardibach · 02/03/2018 19:28

I think that
A) you ar3 imagining it
B) so fucking what?

Justdontknow4321 · 02/03/2018 19:31

Get Botox.

I do. And I’m 28, on my forehead as I hate the lines! Botox makes it all smooth 😂

Justdontknow4321 · 02/03/2018 19:32

But I have no lines around my eyes yet. Lucky as otherwise I’d have to start having the Botox in 3 places instead of 2

Ubercorn87 · 02/03/2018 19:36

I'm 25 and still not a fine line in sight!

cardibach · 02/03/2018 19:45

Just WTF?

Doobigetta · 02/03/2018 19:55

You need to wear sunglasses at the slightest hint of bright sky. It's squinting in sunlight that gives you crows feet.

Cornettoninja · 02/03/2018 20:03

A dermatologist told me skin's best by date is generally 30 years. I've definitely had a few fine ones I've noticed from round about then onwards.

A couple of wrinkles aren't the end of the world. There are things (Botox etc.) that you can do but it's a never ending battle once you start.

Wait till you start getting grey pubes.

Aquamarine1029 · 02/03/2018 20:33

Retinol, retinol, retinol. Along with argan oil to moisturize. I've been using it religiously since I was 19, I'm 44 now and I have no wrinkles, not even tiny crow's feet. Obviously, genetics play a part, but you need to take care of your skin.

Spf 50 with 5* uva protection. Every day.

ToastyFingers · 02/03/2018 20:54

Ah, I'm 27, I don't have wrinkles but I have grey hair, joint problems and boob's like spaniels ears, as my younger, less grey but more wrinkly sister tells me regularly. Looks wise, it's all down hill from here sister!

ToastyFingers · 02/03/2018 20:54

Rouge apostrophe there. Apologies.

Seryph · 02/03/2018 20:57

I'm 28, I probably have them, but I'd have to go look in a mirror to check. It's skin, it does that. And it will continue for the rest of your life.
