Dropping off a sample

I’m about to ask my husband to drop off my pee sample at the doctors. He drives past every day but for me it’s out of the way. AIBU? I don’t think so - he’s pretty obliging and I don’t think he’ll mind.

Anyway, this got me thinking. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever delivered / transported for someone?

I took DP's stool sample to the Drs for him. He knew I'd be driving past and he would've had to go out of his way to drop it off. YANBU

Pee sample- seriously isn't weird at all.

DH's sperm sample. We were going through fertility testing/treatment and I worked in the hospital where the lab is so was easier for me to do the drop off Grin

If you have children your husband will have seen and dealt with far worse than a sealed pot of urine. I wouldn't have given it a thought.

My little brother's friend's artificial lower leg.

They'd been horsing around in the pool and for some reason Will had taken it off. There was an accident and he'd hit his head on the paving surround - blood, tears, wooziness, ambulance... carried in and off he went. Spotted it as I got ready to drive to hospital behind them. Didn't know what to do with it, so front seat and used the seatbelt.

Maybe it’s only weird if it’s still warm then Grin

Semen, after first h had vasectomy he had to provide a sample, i had to take it hospital as he needed to go to work, they suggest keeping it in your bra to keep it warm! Grin

I took a poo sample to the doctors for my flat mate when I was at uni. There was four others in the flat and I was the only one prepared to do it. Every time we see each other now we reminisce and laugh about it Grin
