weather dependant?

We went to a lovely wooden cabin last summer and had the fantastic luck of it being a glorious week - nice and hot and sunny. This made it a lot easier with days spent at the beach and out and about.

We are wary of booking again incase the weather is pants and we end up indoors because of rain/colder weather.

So, is there anywhere in the UK we can book a holiday where the weather doesnt matter? With plenty of things still to do even if it's pissing down?

Bluestone are opening a covered pavillion (i am unsure when). They also have spa / indoor adventure centre / pool already. If you get a lodge or cabin nearer the village or half way between the village and the "top" you wouldn't have far. Hiring a golf cart as well seemed popular if you're not a fan of cycling/ rain.

We love North Norfolk but we tend not to go in the summer, that way we know what to expect! There's plenty to do: pretty villages, stately Homes, steam trains, wonderful beaches

Ha, from your heading I was about to suggest camping or centre parcs...

Now though, I'd suggest trying an AirBnB in a place you've never been to/really enjoy. We had a great week away in London last year, staying in an AirBnB from a family with small kids of their own, whilst they were away. Cost around £500 and had the bonus of being child friendly. They suggested loads of things to do with kids that weren't mega expensive. Was an excellent, child friendly city break.

I agree that a city break would probably be your best bet. We had a so-so week at Bluestone and I thought then that it would've been crap if it had been raining all week.
