AIBU to think these are constantly exaggerated? IME a light smattering of snow gets reported as an inch, something that actually obscures the ground but is two millimetres thick gets described as an inch, a couple of inches is at least six, and so on. Yesterday someone on a news programme on the radio described 12 centimetres as a foot of snow!
